Why We Built Our Own Lettings Department

Jacksons expanded into lettings over fifteen years ago, but the decision wasn’t made lightly.

At the time, we were selling investment properties to landlords and referring them to various managing agents. The feedback we received was, more often than not, disappointing—and honestly, frustrating. A conversation with Mark Jackson, summed it up perfectly: if we wanted landlords to receive a service that matched the quality of our sales team, the only way was to do it ourselves.

So, we did.

From an Idea to an Established Lettings Business

Fast forward to today, and our lettings department has grown into a fully established business, managing hundreds of properties for landlords who trust us with their investments.

The department is led by a passionate and experienced team, headed by Samantha Sword, who brings over 20 years of proven property management expertise. Sam’s leadership, combined with a team that genuinely cares about property and people, allows us to deliver consistently high standards across every aspect of lettings and management.

Owning our business gives us a unique advantage: we set service standards based on what we would expect ourselves. We feel privileged to work alongside like-minded people in a job we love, and we’re confident in Sam’s ability to continue leading the business forward.
